Here at How Fashion Works, we love designer clothing, shoes, and accessories. But our budgets? Not so much. Luckily there are some great flash sale and consignment sites out there, like our latest find The RealReal.


A luxury resale site, The RealReal’s special sauce is their team of stylists who hand-select authentic pieces from the most amazing closets in the country. (Dream job, anyone?) The site runs regular 72-hour premier designer sales as well as ongoing contemporary designer sales. It’s free to sign up, and you can pay $5 each month for an exclusive membership that allows you to shop sales in advance. Bottom line: The RealReal is incredibly well curated, but you have to act fast as there is typically only one of each item.
